Earth Hour: The Philippines' Darkest Hour for... →
That’s pretty dang cool. Greece was a far second… and I’m guessing everyone did better than the U.S.

Late Night With Jimmy Fallon: Last night, Jimmy started an ostensibly serious effort to reunite the cast of Saved By The Bell. Of course we’re totally rooting this thing on, but I thought it was pretty amusing how he said “step one” was getting Dennis Haskins (Mr. Belding). Haskins was probably wandering outside the set looking for unattended sandwiches.

Commencement Speaker for UC Merced c/o 2009:... →
Yeah… I think I’m going to be envious of anyone’s commencement speaker seeing as we ALMOST had Bill Clinton. (I blame you, Chancellor. I really do.)

March Madness: Laker Brackets →
I enjoy that Jordan Farmer still put UCLA to win the whole thing. Walton put Arizona in the final game (that’s loyalty… or disillusionment). I mean, yeah you want to see how your bracket turns out. But if I’m gonna publish this thing, I would not be like Adam Morrison.
I don’t know that much about this year and I totally forgot to complete my bracket online before the...

Pres. Obama's NCAA Bracket →
In case you didn’t see it yet. He picks the Tar Heels as champions… and UCLA to lose first round. Awesome blossom. Remember last few years we had a shot at that thing?

Pasadena "Art Night" →
I may check this out since I’m usually in that area anyway. If you’re in the Pasadena area, let me know. Probably won’t be like Silverlake Art Walk, but still something fun to do.
Recall
[Cut from an old LJ entry I made right after I got back from my summer in NY studying Int’l Governance] “I did what I needed to do. I found new friends and strengthened ties with friends I don’t get to see as often. I did what I didn’t intend to do and did most of what I planned on. I spent too much money, and didn’t come back with much. And, as usual, I gained...
